Graphics Designer

At Wavetec, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations to a new level.
We are looking for a creative, bold, hard working and versatile Designer to help us achieve new horizons for our existing brand, and also participate in the launch of new products and brands during 2022.
You will be part of the Marketing Department, based out of Karachi (Pakistan) or Cordoba (Argentina) depending on your residence, but always working in collaboration with our 8 offices across the globe.
Responsibilities
While we loved being surprised with out-of-the-box initiatives, some of the main activities you will be looking after are:
- Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, videos, emails, presentations, digital signage, brochures, internal communication, and social media.
- Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity, both for existing brands of the group and new brands being launched in 2022.
- Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout following the latest design trends.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or similar discipline
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills
- 3+ years experience with design softwares, such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Figma, Dreamweaver, etc.
- Preferable Working knowledge of CSS3 and HTML5 (not mandatory)
- Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software is a plus (not mandatory)
