Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls, protocols, and infrastructure for cloud-based systems.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, threats, and risks to the cloud infrastructure. Perform security audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Manage identity and access controls, enforce least privilege principles, and ensure proper segregation of duties in the cloud environment.
- Coordinate and execute security incident response plans, including analyzing security logs and conducting forensics investigations.
- Implement and manage security monitoring tools and processes for continuous monitoring of cloud infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities through threat intelligence sources. Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers to understand and implement their security frameworks effectively.
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and address security weaknesses
