Last July 8th and 9th, the Second Latin American Business and Technology Congress Chile Digital 2015 took place at Espacio Riesco, gathering more than 3,500 professionals and executives from over 22 countries in the world.
The event created moments to analyze and boost business competitiveness in information technologies, digital platforms development, and how digital economy is changing the way of doing business.
Chile Digital 2015 dynamics focused on four well defined interaction areas: the International Seminar, the conferences, the Business roundtable, the Latam Venture Capital Forum and Expo-Digital, which gathered 200 exhibiting companies, exhibitions stands from different countries and branch offices from Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica, Colombia, Mexico, USA, Spain and Uruguay. Wavetec showcased its latest technologies on how to improve customer experience in the service areas, presenting its Queue management systems, its Digital Signage and Customer Feedback solutions.
The International Seminar which took place the first day of the event, included the participation of relevant personalities such as: Chile’s former president, Ricardo Lagos; Jon Matonis, Director of Bitcoin Foundation; Bryan Eisenberg, Big Data specialist; Michael Roth, Global Manager of IBM’s Cloud Analytics Services; Juan José De la Torre, Chilean architect based in Dubai, designer of Spotify, PayPal and Netflix’s equivalents for the Middle East, as well as the most widely used soccer app, among other important speakers.
During Chile Digital 2015’s second day, over 30 conferences with international experts in innovation, technology, telecommunications, mobile, TIC, internet of things (ioT), machine to machine (M2M), cloud computing, big data and information security took place simultaneously in 3 rooms.
On the other hand, Latam Venture Capital Forum was a meeting point for angel investors, risk capitals, private equity funds from USA, Europe and Latin America, interested in the development of emerging markets with high growth technological companies.
During the final day, the Business Roundtable took place. Initiative proposed by the event’s organizers allow companies to arrange meetings based on supply and demand with other interested companies beforehand through a virtual tool, in order to have an exchange and dialog area at Chile Digital 2015. In result, the Business Roundtable materialized over 200 company meetings, including Wavetec.
